Creating a Poll: Why would you want to do this?

Ask someone to their face how they felt about a talk or presentation you gave and you would get a very different response than if you had hundreds of people submit their responses to an anonymous poll. Getting honest anonymous feedback is sometimes necessary to improve and OpinionGrab is here to help.

Create an anonymous poll in seconds and get the honest answers you need to hear.

Creating a Poll: Fast, simple and 100% Free

Creating a poll is just a simple matter of clicking on the Create a Poll button at the top header menu and filling out the form. Here is a description of the fields you need:

  • Poll Title: This is obviously the title of the poll. It is shown at the top of the Poll and used to ask the question you want answered.

  • Description: The description is an optional field and acts like a sub header to give more context to the questions.

  • Options: These are the suggested answers to the question you are asking. You must have at a minimum of 2 choices but as many options that makes sense. Anymore than 10 starts to get a little difficult to read, so I would keep it between 2 and 8.

  • Poll Type: You have a choice between single response and multiple response. Single Choice only allows a visitor to answer 1 option as a response and Multiple Choice allows for multiple responses.

  • Results Visibility: Always Visible allows a user to view the results before voting and is the default visibility type. If you want your visitor to vote before viewing the results, then choose After Voting.

  • Closing Date: If you want to stop accepting responses at a certain Date/Time, fill in that date/time in this field. After that date/time, no more votes will be accepted. If you want to leave the voting open, then leave this field blank.

  • Create Poll Button: Click the Create Poll button and your poll will be created while you are redirected to the poll itself.

Polls are only allowed to be voted on once in order to help against voting fraud.

In just a few minutes, you have a poll that is ready to be receiving feedback. It is important that you copy your poll URL as once you leave this page, it might be difficult to get back to your poll.

The next step is to share your poll for others to give you the anonymous feedback that you are looking for.
